This position is accountable for the management and supervision of Physical Rehabilitation Services. The Manager will provide management and supervision for the day-to-day business of these services. Manager will support the current fiscal year and growth opportunities in the future at Mercy General Hospital. This position is responsible to assist in the preparation, maintenance and monitoring of budget for the units. The Manager will provide supervision over the facilitation, coordination, measurement, benchmarking and other systems to support the effective implementation of these departments. The Manager will manage, help sustain and support the infrastructure in place and systems aligned to support the development of the Physical Rehabilitation components, to include medical staff and employee education, as related to the department and departmental needs. The Manager is responsible for managing the programs in an atmosphere consistent with the Mission and Philosophy of the Sisters of Mercy. The incumbent shall demonstrate behaviors consistent with the core (Mercy) values in support with Mercy General Hospital and the Mission and Philosophy of Dignity Health.
REQUIRED: Two (2) years Acute Rehab experience Bachelors in Nursing (BSN). Masters preferred. California Registered Nursing license. BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
