POSITION FOCUS 340 B
340B experience strongly preferred
HL7 knowledgeable w/Understanding of messages and how they are transmitted
Understand how the data gets into the Trinity Data Warehouse and is distributed
Working knowledge of Mainframe EDI connection
Knowledgeable of ServiceNow, creating/initiating IT projects and PIFs, how to submit and obtain PM resources
Understanding of the general business practice of 340B & NDC Architect and ability to represent Trinity's needs in relation to them
Work with different stakeholder groups within and outside of Trinity Health to bring issues to resolution
Strong documentation and presentation skills
Ability to be main point of contact for project management both within and outside Trinity Health
Provides support for the coordination, integration, and analysis of assigned clinical processes (e.g., nursing, radiology, rehab, lab, respiratory therapy, clinical nutrition) across Trinity Health system-wide. Leverages clinical information technology, process design, change management, and evidence to enable improvements in the patient care experience, quality, and financial and regulatory goals. Gathers and prepares reports/presentations of data used in clinical process and system design decision-making. Describes complex processes to administrative and clinical leaders.
Assists and collaborates with others in determining best practice evidence-based workflows, order sets, forms, decision support and other tools that are consistently applied throughout Trinity Health.
Utilizes performance improvement methodologies (e.g., PDCA, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.) and change management strategies to address gaps in performance, changing technology, regulations, standards and evidence.
Leads interdisciplinary functional groups that make design, implementation, enhancement and outcome reporting decisions.
Facilitates the development of educational and communication tools to support clinical process change in Regional Health Ministries (RHMs).
Facilitates technical support and training to new users on software and analytical tools surrounding the implementation and continued upgrade of the electronic health record.
Collaborates with Information and Technology Services, Human Resources, Health Information Management, Risk Management, Supply Chain and other system office clinical leaders to ensure efficient, effective communication and coordination of activities.
Works within the decision-making structure and reports activities to promote communication and accountability. Provides ongoing communication to the Director of Clinical Transformation to facilitate an integrated and coordinated approach to communication and service to the RHMs.
Models teamwork within the System Office and with RHMs. Demonstrates the ability to operate in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
Assists in the handling of multiple projects/assignments simultaneously and adapts to frequent changes in priorities.
Actively pursues professional growth opportunities.
Utilizes support staff appropriately and adopts new tools to manage projects and documents.
Maintains a working knowledge of applicable Federal, State and local laws/regulations; the Trinity Health Integrity and Compliance Program and Code of Conduct; as well as other policies and procedures in order to ensure adherence in a manner that reflects honest, ethical and professional behavior.
An in-depth advanced clinical base of knowledge as normally obtained through a Bachelor's or Master's degree in assigned clinical specialty area and five or more years of related clinical experience.
Three (3) or more years of experience in leading performance/business process improvement activities, including analyzing clinical workflow processes utilizing PDCA, Lean, Six Sigma or other continuous process improvement methodologies or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Current active licensure, certification and/or registration required to practice in assigned clinical specialty area.
Leadership and management experience in a clinical setting with responsibility for managing people, projects and assignments.
Familiarity with information systems, clinical software and other computer applications.
Excellent organizational, advanced analytical, presentation, interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Highly professional manner and appearance.
Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization system-wide.

Must be able to travel to attend some planned conferences and electronic health record implementations, site visits and/or conduct RHM work sessions as needed (up to 20%).
