You: You are personable and nurturing. You have experience working in a school or camp environment with youth and/or teenagers. You are organized, detail-oriented and think on your feet to make quick decisions. You are comfortable with teenagers and comfortable communicating with parents regarding medical concerns.

What you’ll get to do as our Camp Nurse:
Review participant medical files noting all needs, allergies, and medications that will be administered during the program
Review medication ordered in advance through CampMeds system
Collect medication at the beginning of each session – report list of teens who arrive with medication to Site Director
Organize medication for daily distribution during the session and keep a daily log of medications that are dispersed to participants
Be available daily to both staff and teens that are having health issues
Oversee all emergency medical situations
Travel with teens or staff needing outside treatment
Distribute all over-the-counter medication
Communicate consistently with the Site Director regarding any significant medical issues with participants
Communicate with parents regarding any medical teen issues
RN (preferred) or LPN
Experience working in a school or camp environment with youth and/or teens
Strong communication and judgment skills

BBYO ILTC Perlman Camp is better than ever with renovations to all the major structures and expanded living spaces. There's lots of green grass and outdoor space for activities, sports, programs, and time to relax around the iconic Perlman tree. Participants stay in cabins of 25 to 30 teens, divided into four to six rooms, which are staffed by our dedicated college counselors. The whole camp is walkable in about 15 minutes.
