The Medical Oncology-Infusion RN will be providing nursing care in our busy and fast paced, state of the art outpatient infusion center at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst, NC.
Our chemotherapy center currently has 28 chairs and we provide infusion therapy for about 45 patients per day.
Applicant must possess strong interpersonal skills and be a team player. Computer skills required. Successful applicant must be empathetic and professional in dealing with the public. Good communication skills are essential. Call and occassional weekends and holidays required.
One year of nursing experience in oncology, med/surg, or critical care required. Oncology Certified Nurse, Cancer Chemotherapy Provider Certification preferred. BCLS required. Valid NC RN License or Compact State RN License required.
To develop and maintain a highly educated registered nursing staff to meet the present and future demands of the nursing profession, employees who begin employment with FirstHealth of the Carolinas in a position that requires a registered nurse must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree within five (5) years of their employment date.
