Responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the practice to include oversight of the LPN's, RN's, Medical Assistants, Radiology, triage, casting and other office personnel. Provides leadership, direction and administration of all aspects of clinic activities to ensure accomplishment of its objectives. Responsible for assisting in implementation of office policies and procedures and holding staff accountable. Coordinate the coaching, counseling and discipline of staff in conjunction with the HR Manager and the management team members. Reports to the CEO.
Provides overall leadership related to the daily operations of the clinic.
Ensures staffing is adequate to meet the needs of patient care.
Continually looks for opportunities to increase practice efficiency while maintaining the highest standards of patient care.
Conduct and oversee employee reviews with management team.
Conduct compliance training seminars for new hires and on annual basis.
Work with management team to ensure operational procedures are followed.
Create procedures and work with management team to educate staff regarding all current and new procedures.
Review timekeeping with HR Manager and management team.
Communicate with IT as needed to trouble shoot and resolve IT issues.
Hires new employees and ensures proper training.
Work with all physicians regarding clinical issues to ensure maximum clinic efficiencies.
Assist in creating, implementing and monitoring physician schedules.
Assist in creating and implementing the physician call schedule.
Provide coaching and counseling of staff.
Monitors patient satisfaction/feedback for all clinic locations to identify and act upon opportunities for improved service.
Assist in scheduling of management team and all staff meetings.
Works with physicians, management and CEO to recommend capital acquisitions for improved patient service, improved efficiency and profitability.
Attends and participates in professional group meetings.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in a related field to the position.
Minimum three years health care management experience at senior management level. Orthopaedic management experience preferred, but not required.
Previous experience or training in this or similar position.
Minimum of five years’ health care experience and two years of management experience.
Must be able to analyze processes and develop strategic solutions to create efficiencies within the department.
