Advanced Practice Registered Nurses / Physician Assistants
The Adult Acute Care Advanced Practice Nurse for Medicine (APN) is an independent health care provider who coordinates inpatient care through collaboration with the division chief or his/her designee. They will organize and administer individualized age specific professional care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional procedures in the patient care setting. Provides nursing care as directed by the medical staff and in accordance with the objectives, policies, and procedures of the hospital and the State Nurse Practice Atc. Maintains the standards of nursing care as established and participates in patient teaching and discharge. Participates in each patients age specific needs and provides age specific treatment. Section III: Job Qualifications/Education/Training/Certification/Licensure Graduated with MS degree from accredited school of nursing. Several years of critical care nursing experience. Currently registered professional nurse in the state of New Jersey. Advanced Practice Certification and Advance Practice Nursing License. Current BLS Heart Saver/Health Care Provider Certification.
