At Nemours, each Associate plays a vital role in supporting the delivery of world-class pediatric care to the children we serve. The team based at our home office in Jacksonville, Fla. provides essential administrative, financial and technical support to Nemours operations across all locations.

The Mac Workstation Administrator’s primary responsibility is to sustain end user Mac workstation performance and stability.  This involves performing operating system and software installations and upgrades and troubleshooting performance problems and/or solving those problems. This role requires experience with Mac Operating Systems in a corporate environment, Password and Account management on Mac devices, security considerations for Mac devices and Apple remote management.

Essential Functions:

• Must be able to diligently troubleshoot and properly resolve complex Mac OS issues
• Support 150+ Mac users in a corporate environment.
• Document troubleshooting processes to communicate out to the organization.
• Implement system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve performance and reliability.
• Support peripheral devices and accessories for Macs to be able to operate in corporate environment.
• System engineering and administration capabilities in Mac environments
• Experience working with Mac Management and automation tools such as JAMF
• Documents and implements system procedures and policies.
• Additional miscellaneous duties and responsibilities, as may be assigned from time to time by employee’s supervisor.

Other functions:

• Develop clear documentation targeted at both technical and non-technical staff.
• Enforce company IT standards and policies
• Identify and remediate client-side security risks to the environment
• Knowledge of other configuration and patch management tools
• Support of iphone/ipads and mobile device management.

• Strong client-facing skills with the ability to use appropriate discretion while supporting VIP users.

Job Requirements

• Associate's Degree required.
• Minimum 2 years supporting MacOS users and deploying MacOS systems in a corporate environment. 
• Minimum 1 year experience with the JAMF management tool
• Familiarity with device management (MobileIron, Intune, etc.) and O365 with Mac devices
