The Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) safely provides anesthesia to surgical patients for a variety of operation and/or procedures under the supervision of an Anesthesiologist. The CRNA performs pre-anesthesia patient evaluations/histories, prepares anesthesia plans, delivers all forms of anesthesia and follows up on general anesthesia cases. Consults and collaborates with the surgical team. Performs routine maintenance and cleaning of anesthesia equipment.
