St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring a NICU Nurse Manager to join our team. The level III NICU supports a very busy labor and delivery unit which is responsible for over 4,300 births annually. The 30-bed unit is clinically supported around the clock by neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners. Additional ancillary support services are provided by PT, OT, speech, RT, and pharmacy. Our ideal candidate is an engaging leader who will influence a positive work environment and promote family centered care. Has 24/7 responsibility for leadership and management functions of an operational business unit (s). Demonstrate the ability to manage a diverse work team to accomplish the strategic plan of the organization.
This is a 30-bed unit with 17 private rooms. The structure of the NICU leadership includes an assistant nurse manager, and 2 RN Team Leads. The manager will have responsibility for approximately 47 FTE's. Additionally, the department is working with a NIH study for Eat/Sleep/Console.

Education, Credentials, Licenses:
BSN. Graduate of accredited School of Nursing
Licensed to practice nursing in the
State of Kentucky. Meets contact hours requirements for
Licensure, including all state-required courses.
Kind and Length of Experience:
3 years nursing experience; experience relevant to the specific clinical area including: experience as Assistant Nurse Manager or equivalent position and experience with staffing/scheduling and managing a unit/department budget.
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
Additional Salary Information: Up to 10% annual Bonus
