Fairview Health Services is looking Registered Nurse at our Bloomington Oxboro location. This position is approved for 72 hours every two weeks and is benefit eligible.The RN Position with Fairview Bloomington clinic is a fast paced position with daily duties including phone triage for multiple providers, working in the in basket, nurse appointments and occasional walk in triage.

The Registered Nurse performs both independent nursing and delegated medical function. The independent nursing includes assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of nursing care for assigned patient population(s). The delegated medical function includes participation in and coordination of delegated patient care to other health care team members. The RN is responsible for performing these functions in accordance with all policy, procedure, and professional practice guidelines.

• Involve the patient, family, and other health care team members in gathering data.
• Identify outcomes that are age appropriate, culturally appropriate, realistic, and attainable.
• Provides care according to the plan, and in accordance with all relevant policies, procedures, and relevant nursing practice guidelines.
• Coordinates nursing care with the care of all other health team members.
• Systematically and continuously evaluates patients response to interventions.
• Modifies the interventions based on patient response and changing patient condition.
• Prioritizes work based on patient acuity, provider schedule, available resources, and patient/family preferences, in conjunction with the provider.
• Performs high and low risk technical procedures, including medication, as defined by clinical setting.

Required Qualifications

• Current Minnesota RN License
• Basic Life Support Certification
• Associate Degree
• Clinical expertise as a nurse in a Healthcare Setting
  

Preferred Qualifications

• One year of previous healthcare experience in an ambulatory setting
• Willingness to work at various sites is encouraged
• Bachelors Degree
• ACLS Certification
