The Marrow Transplant Unit (MTU) is an 8 bed inpatient and 4 chair outpatient room specializing in transplanting patients with hematologic malignancies (AA, MM, lymphoma, leukemia's and some other solid tumors). Patients are followed on the unit both as inpatients and outpatients. The average length of stay is 15-20 days. Most patients are required to stay in Seattle for 100 days.
