Summary

Responsible for the operations of assigned department. Demonstrate productive and efficient management skills. Promotes quality awareness and achieving the highest standard of excellence. Ensures performance improvement initiatives are implemented. Monitors staff performance. Collaborates with staff, physicians and the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and accurate implementation in accordance with patient care standards

Education

Required: Academic degree in nursing
Preferred: Bachelors or Masters degree

Experience

Required: 1 year of progressive management experience in a hospital environment as a leader or full time charge nurse/related position

Certifications

Required: Must be currently licensed, certified or registered to practice profession as required by law, regulation in state of practice or policy. CPR/BLS, ACLS and EKG Certified
