You Will:

Work within Nurse-Physician basedAmbulatory Care and Inpatient Practice Models, floating between both settings as needed.
Facilitate the accrual of appropriate patients to clinical trials.
Coordinate patient care activities and participate in the conduct of studies for patients enrolled in clinical trials for Leukemia.
Educate those patients and their families regarding clinical trials in general and the specifics of the proposed clinical trial.
Provide as an integral member of the clinical research team to research study participants' direct nursing care, patient and study assessments, education, and patient/ family support.
Collaborate with the principal investigator to review new protocols from a nursing perspective and participate in a multidisciplinary discussion for approval.
Implement the standards for research protocols in compliance with regulatory, institutional, and external agencies.
Act as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide continuity of care to patients throughout various stages of treatment on protocol and follow-up.
Collaborate closely with members of the clinical research team across the MSK enterprise to manage protocol patients and coordinate care

You Need:

New York State RN license and BSN
Three years of clinical nursing experience
1.5 2 years of oncology experience preferred
Clinical research nursing experience preferred
Proficiency with clinical and office software (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel)
BCLS

Hours: 4 x10hour shifts Monday - Friday

Location: 50% Ambulatory (David H. Koch Center for Cancer Care) and 50% Inpatient (Main Campus)
