This position provides proficient patient care, promotes patient comfort, and contributes to the overall patient plan of care. This position is responsible for on-going patient data collection and documentation in the medical record; provides a variety of unit support functions, which contribute to the overall efficient operation of the nursing unit/department. About Fairbanks Denali Center Position Available Full Time; Day Shift 8hr Clinical Shifts; 40hr/wk 7:00-15:30 w/ e/o Weekend ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Performs all functions according to established policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation requirements, as well as applicable professional standards. Provides all customers of Foundation Health with an excellent service experience by consistently demonstrating our core and leader behaviors each and every day.

Specific tasks or responsibilities will be documented as outlined by the incumbent's immediate manager. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma/GED or equivalent working knowledge is required. Requires proficiency in all competencies including end of life care, Alzheimers, and Dementia within first six (6) months of hire. Demonstrated ability to float to other areas of the facility is required within the first six (6) months of hire. Current BLS certification. Current C.N.A. license in state of practice is required in accordance with regulatory requirements or facility/department policy. Demonstrates critical thinking skills. Must possess excellent organizational skills, as well as effective human relations and communication skills. Working knowledge of medical terminology and computer literacy and keyboarding skills is required. As is typical in this industry, variable shifts and hours, and on-call duties may be required.
