Staff pharmacists monitor patient drug therapies including choice of drug, drug dosage, frequency, avoiding drug interactions, and drug allergies. Provide drug information to physicians and nurses, dose drugs under protocol, and fill orders for oral and injectable medications. Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Minimum Education: A Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy is required.
Minimum Experience: 2 to 3 years of recent job related experience is required.
Required Certifications/Registrations/Licenses: Licensed as Pharmacist in South Carolina. BLS certification required; ACLS certified Pharm D with residency preferred.
