Summary

Under a Registered Nurse�s supervision, provides nursing care for a group of patients, based on the patients� needs with the LVN�s competencies. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education
Minimum: Graduate of an accredited school of vocational nursing

Experience
Preferred: LVN in an acute care setting

Required Licensure and Certification

• Possession of current Texas State License for Licensed Vocational Nurse
• BLS required within 10 days of hire or transfer into unit
