This position is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), a student loan payment reimbursement program. You must meet specific individual eligibility requirements in accordance with VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Approval, award amount (up to $200,000) and eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after complete review of the EDRP application. Demonstrate a respect for all patient culture values, beliefs, and practices. Provide patient education for Veterans and their significant others toward prevention of acute and chronic diseases, and work to maintain or improve health status and quality of life. Work with a variety of VA and community providers directly, after receiving guidance from an RN or Specialty Care Provider. The LPN may be assigned to a provider in a specialty clinic/s under that provider's immediate supervision for the day-to-day operation of the clinic(s), and require little direct supervision.
