This is a Nursing Assistant Registered to Nursing Assistant Certification Program. We have a variety of Nursing Assistant Registered positions for a C.N.A. Trainee program. These are located at Deaconess Hospital and Valley Hospital in Spokane, Washington.
The targeted start date for all candidates hired into this role, is February 14, 2022The final C.N.A. positions once the program is completed are:
.9fte nights or .9fte days, (72hrs a payperiod), 12hr shifts.
There are various units at both hospitals, available.
MultiCare will pay for the C.N.A. education/course.
The candidate will have a paid "full time"/benefit eligible position, at the time of hire.
N.A.R. licensure: If you do not have a N.A.R. licensure, that is acceptable. That will be done within 2 weeks of hire date. MultiCare will cover the cost.
CPR Card: If you do not have a current C.P.R. card, that is acceptable. This will need to be done within 2 weeks of hire date. MultiCare will cover the cost.
The program is about 5-6 weeks:
During this time, it will be 8hr days (80hrs a pay period), Mon through Fri 8am-5pm.
Program/class hours will be 40hrs per week during the program - approximately 20hrs class time in the morning and 20hours clinical training time in the afternoon. The last week of the program is 40hrs clinicals.
A portion of the full time NAR position during this program, will be "education/class time", and job shadowing on the unit.
Upon successful completion of the program/education MultiCare will cover your first testing for the N.A.C. certification.
The employee will be given 60 days from completion of the training to pass their NAC test.
Once the test is successfully passed:
The employee will obtain and pay for the N.A.C. licensure.
Then, the employee's position will be updated/upgraded to a Nursing Assistant Certification position with that higher rate of pay. Pay information:
As an N.A.R. during the program, the pay rate is 15.93
Once updated/upgraded to a C.N.A., the pay rate is 16.77
If it is a night shift position, there is a $3.00 night shift differential in addition to that C.N.A. base payrate.
The shift in which interested in (day or nights) and hired into, will be updated accordingly to the day or night shift/12hr shifts, after successful completion.
