Us.

We are a 23 bed Emergency Department averaging approximately 40,000 patient visits annually.  We are the first pediatric-ready hospital in the state of Montana.  We are an ACS Verified Level II Trauma Center, stroke center and STEMI receiving center.  We have in-house rotor wing and fixed wing flight teams specializing in adult, pediatric, OB and NICU transports.

Your day.

This is a  part-time.6 FTE night shift position

As a Certified Nurse Assistant â“ Emergency Department Tech with us, youâ™ll never know what to expect, but you will know how to:

• Observe and report patientâ™s physical and psychosocial condition upon initial presentation including changes in pain, skin condition, medical status, ect.


• Continuously reassess pertinent aspects of patient care such as vital sign, assist in determining post-discharge care needs and resources available to the patient


• Assist healthcare team with duties including, but not limited to EKGs, splinting, wound care, dressing, vital signs, specimen collection, suture removal, immobilization, linen changes, equipment sanitization and keeping surrounding environment clean.


• Support, educate and reassure patient and their family


• Participate in patient discharge and post discharge planning as outlined by the physician and primary nurse.  Assure patient has had all questions and concerns address prior to discharge.

Your experience.

• High School diploma the equivalent, preferred


• Current Montana CNA certification or Montana EMT or Paramedic


• Current BLS certification


• One year of experience in a similar setting
